Tweezerman strutted its new pet grooming line with a puppy yoga session in the Big Apple on Oct. 7.

Adorable pups from Wise Animal Rescue were loving their grooming tools as much as the heart-eyed participants who embarked on cuddle sessions with the pooches in between stretching, posing and meditating.

The event, hosted by Woof Wellness, displayed Tweezerman’s new pet collection trimming scissors, shears, nail clipper, tick removal tweezer, brushes and a 2-in-1 shampoo-dispensing bath brush.

With up to 66% of US households or 87 million homes, owning a pet, pet care owners – many of whom view as a companion and true friend – aim to provide the same luxurious treatment to their furry friends as they would themselves. Pet ownership has become an integral part of wellness, which is becoming interwoven with beauty inside-out.

Per research from McKinsey and Company, the global wellness market is estimated to be $1.5 trillion and grows annually between 5 and 10%. In the US, it recently reached $480 billion.

Eighty-two percent of consumers in the US now consider wellness a priority in their everyday lives. Consumers are turning to solutions and activities as varied as pet ownership and beauty to harmonize physical, mental and social well-being.
